High School Student Coaching Opportunities – MOD Soccer

At our club, we believe some of the best leaders grow from within our own soccer community.

As a 100% volunteer-run soccer club, we are excited to offer high school students the opportunity to coach within our MOD soccer program. This program is designed to create a fun and supportive environment where young leaders can gain valuable experience while helping our youngest players learn and enjoy the game.

The program gives motivated high school students the chance to step into leadership roles, build confidence, and give back to the soccer community.

Program Goals

Through this program, student coaches will have the opportunity to:

· Gain leadership and mentoring experience

· Build valuable resume and college application experience

· Earn verified volunteer/community service hours

· Receive letters of reference from club leadership when appropriate

· Develop communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

· Stay connected to the club and community through volunteerism

At the same time, the program helps our club:

· Strengthen volunteer support within the MOD program

· Encourage the development of future coaches and community leaders

· Create positive role models for younger players

· Foster a welcoming and connected club culture

Eligible Divisions

Student coaches may be assigned within the following MOD divisions:

· Co-Ed U5/U6

· Boys U7

· Boys U8

· Girls U7/U8

Eligibility

To participate, student coaches should:

· Be entering or in High School

· Demonstrate maturity, responsibility, and positive sportsmanship

· Be willing to serve as positive role models for younger players

Coaching Structure

Student coaches may:

· Serve as Head Coaches or Assistant Coaches within eligible MOD divisions

· Coach independently or alongside a coaching partner

· Lead practices and game days

· Receive support and guidance from the MOD (Modified Rules Director) and club leadership throughout the season

Recognition & Incentives

While participation in the Future Coaches Program is volunteer-based, student coaches may receive:

· Verified volunteer/service hours

· Letters of recommendation or reference

· Club coach swag/apparel

· Recognition for their leadership and involvement within the club
